Job summary

Openkrill is seeking a researcher/engineer to advance verification proofs for AI systems on frontier-scale models. You will collaborate with hardware-security and cryptography experts, aiming to publish verifiable results and reduce proving costs.

We welcome candidates from early research careers to those with production-proof systems experience and a strong ability to generalise across models. Remote, globally distributed team with UK visa sponsorship potential.

Qualifications

• Built a real system with a modern proof system or deep GPU/ML systems experience and willingness to learn proof systems on the job.
• Comfortable reasoning about soundness and what assumptions buy you.
• Able to write code that others will audit and review.

Responsibilities

• Drive down proving cost and close the gap between proofs and frontier inferences.
• Collaborate with hardware-security and systems teams and external cryptographers.
• Publish work to enable checkability by others.
