Job summary

A+E Global Media is seeking a Coordinator for Programming Operations to join the Scheduling, Acquisition and Strategy team in a hybrid work model with remote options. You will support the monthly greenlight process, manage metadata lifecycle across platforms, and assist senior leadership with calendar management and travel arrangements.

You will collaborate with Programming, Production, Research, Finance, Marketing, Legal and Sales, gaining exposure to content strategy and development lifecycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, film, television or related field
• Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Must be comfortable working independently with large datasets and complex operational systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong communication & organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly
• Knowledge and interest in the television programming and the pop culture competitive landscape
• Strong interest in data analysis and applying data-based solutions is a plus

Responsibilities

• Help facilitate the monthly greenlight process for A&E, History, Lifetime, LMN and FYI. Responsibilities include assembling and distributing key documents for monthly and bi-weekly decks as well as coordinating key creative and financial details with internal departments including programming, finance, research, ad sales and global content sales.
• Work closely with the Director of Programming Operations to manage the lifecycle of our content, ensuring all metadata is accurate and consistent from inception through each program’s launch across downstream linear and digital platforms globally.
• Support EVP Department Head by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and processing expenses as needed.
• Program scheduling responsibilities as needed including entering linear schedule into What’s On (internal scheduling software), creating air schedules, revisions, formats, piece number creation, etc.
• Ad-hoc projects including building presentations as needed
• Build and improve processes to utilize technology and AI to improve key departmental workflows.
• The Coordinator should be collaborative and have a willingness to contribute to new programming strategies on linear and non-linear platforms.
