Job summary

A+E Global Media is seeking a Coordinator, Programming Operations to support the greenlight process across History, Lifetime, and other brands. You will partner with Programming, Product, Research, Finance, Marketing, Legal, and senior leadership to ensure accurate metadata and timely decisions.

The role includes admin support, calendar management, travel, and expense processing, with exposure to executive leadership and content strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, film, television or related field
• Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Must be comfortable working independently with large datasets and complex operational systems
• Excellent attention to detail, strong communication & organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly
• Knowledge and interest in the television programming and the pop culture competitive landscape
• Strong interest in data analysis and applying data-based solutions is a plus

Responsibilities

• Help facilitate the monthly greenlight process for A+E, History, Lifetime, LMN and FYI, assembling and distributing key documents and coordinating details with internal departments
• Work with the Director of Programming Operations to manage content lifecycle and ensure metadata accuracy from inception through launch
• Support EVP Department Head by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and processing expenses
• Program scheduling responsibilities: entering linear schedule into scheduling software, creating air schedules, revisions, formats, and piece number creation
• Ad-hoc projects including building presentations
• Build and improve processes to utilize technology and AI to improve workflows
• Collaborate and contribute to new programming strategies on linear and non-linear platforms
