Job summary

Gampac is seeking an Executive Manager to source, secure, and manage transportation needs for new and existing customers. You will discuss freight lanes, rates, and solutions and work to expand current accounts while guiding the team to success.

The role is fully remote and requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience, brokerage knowledge, and strong negotiation and communication skills. Base compensation reflects a wide US market range.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of brokerage experience.
• Basic understanding of brokerage operations and geographic freight markets.
• BA or BS degree or equivalent experience.
• Prior demonstration of effective negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc).

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and securing freight, carriers, and customers.
• Develop opportunities from the Business Development Team.
• Account management and growth of smaller assigned accounts.
• Lead Associates including scheduling, time tracking, performance feedback, and training.
• Monitor current loads and proactively identify, communicate and resolve issues for customers.
• Support Accounts Receivable in collections of past due invoices.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
