Job summary

Alia Services is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Coordinator – Freight & Logistics for 100% remote work. You will manage freight-related billing, resolve pricing discrepancies, and ensure accurate invoicing from shipment to final bill.

Collaborate with Account Executives, carriers (UPS, FedEx), and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain timely billing while upholding KPIs. This role emphasizes independent problem-solving, accuracy, and timely communication in a fast-paced finance

Qualifications

• 12-18+ months of professional Billing experience.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to independently investigate discrepancies and determine next steps.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Review vendor and carrier invoices and compare charges against sales orders.
• Identify and resolve pricing and freight discrepancies before invoicing.
• Independently manage invoicing of assigned orders.
• Review AP invoices related to local and third-party freight charges.
• Validate freight charges and ensure costs are applied correctly.
• Understand and reconcile differences between actual and published freight rates.
• Investigate freight rate changes and reasons for price differences.
• Process freight adjustments and ensure changes are reflected in billing.
• Maintain consistent invoicing within billing KPIs and aging targets.
• Communicate with Account Executives, customers, carriers, and internal teams.
