Job summary

Placements24 invites applications for a Remote Freight Forwarding Coordinator with a global logistics client. You will manage international and domestic shipments, coordinate with carriers and brokers, and ensure timely, compliant documentation from your home office.

The role requires at least 3 years in freight forwarding or international logistics, knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures, and experience with TMS or global trade software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of freight forwarding experience.
• Solid understanding of Incoterms, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Proficiency with freight forwarding software and systems (e.g., TMS).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail for managing multiple shipments remotely.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end international and domestic freight shipments (air, sea, road, rail).
• Prepare and process shipping docs: bills of lading, customs declarations, invoices.
• Liaise with carriers, airlines, and brokers to book space and negotiate rates.
• Track shipments real-time and provide updates to clients.
• Ensure compliance with customs rules and export/import requirements.
