Job summary

Serve Freight, LLC is seeking a Business Development Representative to drive outbound sales for our freight brokerage. This phone-first role focuses on sourcing shippers, qualifying opportunities, and moving deals through a fast-growing pipeline.

You’ll work with the Director of Sales and Operations, build your pipeline in HubSpot and Turvo, and earn increasing commissions as you own accounts. Location options include Asheville, NC or Charleston, SC on-site, or remote for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of business development or sales experience.
• Outbound prospecting and pipeline generation.
• Comfortable on the phone and able to make many calls daily.
• Clear communicator, in writing and on the phone.
• Coachable, competitive and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to shippers across target industries.
• Qualify prospects, book discovery conversations, and move opportunities through the pipeline.
• Develop understanding of freight pricing and moves using Turvo, HubSpot, and DAT.
• Build and manage your pipeline in HubSpot.
• Join leadership on customer calls and contribute to closing deals.
• Hit daily activity targets and manage ramp.
