Job summary

Avalere Health is building a network of freelance professionals who can work remotely or meet in person at hubs like New York and other global locations. We seek Freelance Project Managers to ensure on-time, on-budget client work across channels.

You will coordinate with agency teams, manage scope, and drive timelines and budgets while serving as the main point person for engagements. Prior experience in an agency setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing digital projects within an agency setting, ideally pharma or regulated industries.
• Strong ability to manage scope, timelines, and budgets across multiple workstreams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage workflow across all projects on assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with agency teams to plan, staff, forecast, and allocate resources.
• Prepare and manage client MLR submissions.
• Develop timelines and estimates; keep projects on time and budget; escalate risks as needed.
• Lead project kickoff meetings and define program requirements with clients.
