Job summary

Grow Financial Federal Credit Union is seeking a Fraud Investigator II to independently manage a broad range of fraud cases and contribute to fraud prevention initiatives. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and either 12 months of fraud investigator experience at Grow Financial FCU or 3 years in a related field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 12 months experience as a Fraud Investigator I at Grow Financial FCU or 3 years work experience in a related field such as fraud/loss prevention, BSA/AML compliance, collections, or lending operations.
• Maintains strong communication including written abilities, presentation skills, active listening, voice quality, grammar, strong interpersonal skills, multi-tasking ability, conflict management and telephone etiquette skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to effectively operate standard office equipment in a remote or in-office environment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
• Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
• Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.

Responsibilities

• The Fraud Investigator II role is focused on independently managing a broad range of fraud case types and contributing to fraud prevention initiatives.
• This role bridges operational execution with emerging fraud trends and supports collaboration with technical partners to understand system outputs and fraud patterns.
• Emphasis is placed on daily review of predictive reports and taking appropriate actions on accounts.
• Other duties include participation in Fraud Team area-related projects and training/education of credit union members and employees on fraud related topics.
