Job summary

Cause Capacity is seeking a Part-Time Administrative & Operations Specialist for a remote, US-based engagement. This 1099 contractor role offers around 10–40 hours per month with pay ranging from $25 to $40 per hour, commensurate with experience, and a flexible, project-based workload.

You will serve across client needs—managing calendars, inboxes, file systems, finance support, CRM maintenance, and executive assistance—delivering reliable, behind-the-scenes operations that keep teams on track.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in administrative, operations, or similar roles.
• Experience supporting small teams, startups, or nonprofits preferred.
• Comfortable in remote, fast-moving, client-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage calendars, scheduling, and meeting coordination.
• Organize inboxes and communications workflows.
• Create, maintain, and improve file systems and documentation.
• Support internal processes to improve efficiency and clarity.
• Track expenses, process invoices, and support reconciliations.
• Coordinate with external vendors and manage CRM interactions.
• Draft communications, presentations, and board materials.
• Schedule and post social media content and update basic website content.
