Job summary

Credit Acceptance is seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to partner with executive leaders, develop and optimize budgets, evaluate spending trends, and align financial resources with strategic priorities.

The role involves leading budgeting governance, delivering insights for profitability, and mentoring the FP&A team from a remote location with occasional travel to the Southfield, Michigan office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 8 years of equivalent financial analysis or accounting experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate budgeting role.
• Strong proficiency with Power BI, Power Query and MS Excel.
• CPA or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operating expense budget management process, including budget development and monthly monitoring.
• Partner with executive leaders to evaluate spending trends and identify risks and opportunities.
• Provide budget performance reporting and executive-level recommendations to support profitability objectives.
• Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports in financial planning and analysis.
