Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Operations F&A Director to provide FP&A leadership for the Enterprise Science Division, overseeing programs with annual sales of $300M, including AE GIS and NEST. You will manage a team of analysts, drive forecasts, and deliver actionable financial insights to support strategic decisions.

The role requires 8+ years of finance and operations experience, GAAP knowledge, and collaboration with business development and pricing teams to shape new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in finance and business operations.
• Full cycle product finance experience including supply chain, inventory, and manufacturing.
• Experience creating new financial models and metrics to manage the business.
• Knowledge and experience with GAAP financial statement reporting and accounting methods.
• Program Finance experience and proven ability to develop business cases and cost analyses.

Responsibilities

• Advise line management on financial forecasts and analyze revenue and costs.
• Interpret operating results, evaluate expenditures, and present insights to achieve goals.
• Provide recommendations to reduce costs and increase profit.
• Design, execute, and monitor processes within business operation.
• Be a key member of the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning team.
• Manage financial performance including Long Range Plan and monthly forecasts.
• Lead a team of finance professionals for compliance, budgeting, and proposals.
• Collaborate with business development, capture management, and pricing on new strategy and cash flows.
• Oversee month-end closings and variance/trend analyses.
