Qualifications

The Civilian Agency Solutions Business Area within the Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a dynamic Operations F&BO Director responsible for providing F&BO leadership to the Enterprise Science Division. The Enterprise Science Division has annual sales of $300M and is largely made up of two key Leidos programs - the NASA Advanced Enterprise Global Information Technology Solutions (AEGIS) and NASA End-User Services and Technology (NEST) programs. The Operations F&BO Director will be responsible for managing a team of Program Finance Analysts to support the programs within the Division and supporting the Enterprise Science Division Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Advise line management on all financial aspects of their organizational unit/ including developing and driving financial forecasts and analyzing the organizations' revenue and costs.
• Interpret operating results as they affect the financial aspects of the business, evaluate, and approve expenditure decisions, identify operational risk factors that may impact the business performance of the organization and present key business insights and recommendations to achieve the organization's current and future goals.
• Provide specific recommendations which will result in cost reductions and increased profit.
• Along with your team, this role will evaluate, design, execute, measure, monitor, and control processes within the business operation.
• Key member of the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning team
• Responsible for financial performance of the operating unit to include Long Range Plan, monthly forecasts and FP&A activities.
• Manage a team of business finance professionals to ensure contractual compliance, cost management, budget development, and proposal support.
• Work closely with business development, capture management, and pricing teams on new business strategy, cost volume reviews, and preparation of cash flows for executive briefings.
• Month-end closings and variance/trend analyses.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in finance and business operations.
• Prior experience in full cycle product finance experience, including supply chain, inventory, and manufacturing.
• Experience with creating new financial models and metrics to help manage the business.
• Knowledge and experience with GAAP financial statement reporting and accounting methods
• Program Finance experience
• Proven experience in working and communicating business cases, variance analysis, and evaluating cost benefit models

Pay Range:

Pay Range $116,350.00 - $210,325.00
