Job summary

NCD is seeking a Manager, FP&A to own the budget, forecast, and supporting models. You will work directly with the CFO and product, sales, and operations leaders. This is a hands-on role, building and running models and digging into data to answer key questions.

Responsibilities include driver-based budgeting, variance analysis, P&L management by carrier and product line, and cash-flow forecasting. You will also lead AI-enabled improvements to recurring finance tasks and collaborate with the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative field.
• 5+ years of FP&A, investment banking, corporate development, or Big 4 experience.
• Advanced Excel modeling: three-statement models, driver-based forecasts, scenario analysis.
• Working knowledge of GAAP financial statements and driver-to-P&L flows.
• Comfort working with data via SQL or BI tools.
• Clear written communication to explain variances to executives.
• Ability to work independently in a remote team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual budget and monthly/quarterly reforecast with driver-based model.
• Produce monthly budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual variance analysis with commentary.
• Build and maintain P&Ls by carrier, program, product line, and channel.
• Model carrier/distributor economics including commissions, reserves, and profit-sharing.
• Develop cash flow and liquidity forecasts and lender reporting packages.
• Assess new products, distributor agreements, and acquisitions (pricing, unit economics, payback).
• Collaborate with Data to define metrics and move reports from spreadsheets to dashboards.
• Leverage AI tools to speed up recurring finance tasks and document models.
