Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Financial Consultant to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic partnerships. This National Remote role focuses on driving financial discipline and data-driven decision making within the Specialty and Home Delivery Pharmacy organization.

The role emphasizes analytical capabilities, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence outcomes through clear financial insights.

Qualifications

3+ years FP&A or accounting experience.
Experience building and improving financial models with statement analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for risks/opportunities.
Able to synthesize data and communicate insights to diverse audiences.
Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, INDEX/MATCH, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS).

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end financial planning processes including forecasting and budgeting.
Analyze metrics and translate results into actionable leadership insights.
Prepare monthly variance analyses and communicate drivers to senior leadership.
Partner with business leaders to provide financial guidance and trends.
Develop, maintain and enhance financial reporting for performance and forecasts.
Contribute to ad-hoc analyses and strategic initiatives.
Balance competing priorities and deliver concise, impactful insights.
