Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Whole Health Solutions team. This role supports month-end close, forecasting, long-range modeling, and strategic partnership to drive growth and profitability for the Behavioral solutions book.

The position is full-time and remote nationwide, with standard work hours 8:00 am–5:00 pm CST/EST and training days as scheduled. Strong Excel, Hyperion Essbase, and PeopleSoft experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• At least 2 years of financial planning, forecasting, reporting, or analysis.
• Proficiency with Excel and leadership-ready materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial reports communicating actual results, forecast, and variances.
• Lead annual budget, quarterly forecast, and long-range planning.
• Analyze results versus budget and forecast, identifying drivers and trends.
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve reporting.
• Participate in strategic planning initiatives and ad hoc analyses.
• Support implementation and optimization of financial systems and BI solutions.
• Provide financial guidance for initiatives and cost management.
