Job summary

SafelyYou is seeking a Director of FP&A who will own and shape the financial function, translating numbers into strategic actions. You will work directly with the CEO, COO, and heads of functions to drive resource allocation, forecasting, and disciplined performance.

This role starts as individual contributor, remote, with potential to scale a small team. Salary range is $170,000 to $190,000 per year, and you’ll build SaaS and hardware forecasting models, dashboards, and a scalable FP&A

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive FP&A experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Experience in a SaaS business with recurring revenue metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV).
• Experience in a hardware/physical product environment—COGS, installation economics, inventory dynamics.
• Startup or high-growth environment experience; able to build processes from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget and mid-year refresh across functions with clear cost-center ownership.
• Develop a long-range financial plan aligning strategic objectives with operating assumptions.
• Set sales and revenue targets by product for contracted and utilization models.
• Partner with HR and Operations to support headcount planning and resource allocation.
• Build robust pipeline and forecasting models with sales and operations input.
• Maintain a risk and opportunity tracker with monthly updates.
