Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning for our mission-driven nonprofit. Reporting to the CFO, you will turn complex data into clear insights and guide strategic decisions across programs and operations.

You'll collaborate with executives, program leaders, and finance teams to optimize financial performance, enhance reporting, and drive sustainable growth while strengthening financial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in financial planning, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial leadership.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, scenario planning, forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate financial and operational data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience with financial systems, ERP platforms, budgeting software, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-year financial planning in support of organizational growth and long-term sustainability.
• Provide financial analysis, recommendations, and decision support for executive leadership and Board reporting.
• Own the organization-wide budgeting process and ensure alignment with priorities.
• Collaborate with program and operational leaders to improve budget development and accountability.
• Deliver timely, accurate financial reporting to executives and stakeholders.
• Translate complex data into clear insights for non-financial audiences.
• Develop and monitor KPIs related to financial and operational performance.
• Promote transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement within finance.
