Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a strategic Director of FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning for a mission-driven nonprofit. You will partner with the CFO and senior leaders to translate complex data into actionable insights that guide program growth and sustainability.

In this remote role requiring residency in VT, CT, MD, NH, or MA, you will oversee financial modeling, risk assessment, and performance analytics, while mentoring a growing team of analysts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or related field.
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and leadership.
• Experience in nonprofit/human services/education or similarly complex orgs preferred.
• Expertise in financial modeling, scenario planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CFO and senior leadership to develop and implement Aspire’s financial strategy.
• Lead multi-year financial planning in support of organizational growth and sustainability.
• Provide financial analysis and decision support for leadership and board reporting.
• Evaluate financial risks, opportunities, and impact of strategic initiatives.
• Develop, monitor, and report on KPIs relating to financial and operational performance.
