Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning seeks an experienced Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis. Reporting to the CFO, the role drives financial strategy, models scenarios, and provides insights to executive leadership for strategic decision making.

This role partners with program teams and the finance department to ensure sustainability, growth, and transparent reporting in a mission‑driven nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field.
• MBA or master’s degree in finance or related advanced degree.
• Experience in nonprofit financial management, grants, contracts, or reimbursement-based funding models.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Experience with financial systems, ERP platforms, budgeting software, and reporting tools.
• Experience supervising and developing finance or analytics teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, performance analysis, and long‑term planning.
• Partner with executive leadership to turn financial data into actionable insights.
• Provide decision support and Board reporting with KPIs for financial and operational performance.
• Develop rolling forecasts, scenario analyses, and risk assessments.
• Oversee reporting, improve analytics tools, and ensure financial integrity.
