Job summary

Momentum is seeking a Foundation Strategy & Engagement Director to deepen and expand our foundation support. You will manage a portfolio currently around $4.5 million, lead grant development, and serve as the primary relationship manager for institutional funders.

This strategic, collaborative role reports to the Global Director of Development, requires at least 7 years of fundraising experience, US-based remote work, and willingness to travel for donor events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of fundraising or related experience.
• Experience identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major gifts.
• Strong written and verbal communication with donors and boards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Salesforce and donor databases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of existing foundation partners, including high-level communication and stewardship.
• Identify and lead cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of new foundations.
• Serve as primary relationship manager through grant development, submission, and reporting.
• Collaborate with CEO and leadership to leverage relationships for foundation engagement.
• Design and implement a structured stewardship plan for foundations.
• Meet quarterly and annual targets for retention and new gifts.
