Job summary

Jobot seeks a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to stand up enterprise AI platforms for a regional health plan client. You’ll own production-grade workflows, guardrails, and reference implementations while embedding with client engineers to deliver scalable AI solutions.

The role demands hands-on Python/TypeScript, experience with LLM-backed workflows, and strong collaboration with stakeholders. Remote work is supported with an expense-paid onsite week and occasional travel to Providence, RI.

Qualifications

• 6-10+ years designing, building, deploying and supporting production applications with backend focus.
• At least one LLM-backed or agentic workflow shipped to production with real users and owned after launch.
• Strong Python and working TypeScript
• Experience with tool integrations or MCP servers and an eval harness for LLMs
• Healthcare payer domain knowledge preferred and HIPAA experience encouraged

Responsibilities

• Stand up AI platforms and guardrails for production workflows.
• Integrate tools like ServiceNow, Snowflake, Grafana/OpenTelemetry, Entra, and data systems into production.
• Design and deliver multi-step and agentic workflows for healthcare processes such as prior authorization and member services.
• Lead discovery sessions with business owners and translate needs into measurable requirements.
• Instrument AI workloads for observability, including traces and cost telemetry.
