Job summary

IFS is hiring a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer in the United States. You will embed with Aerospace & Defense customers, design and ship production software across the full stack, and own delivery end-to-end with automated testing and CI/CD. AI-powered development and field feedback will shape the product roadmap.

You will work on-site with customers when needed and maintain strong communication with product management and engineering teams, while traveling to customer sites as required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and shipping production software across the stack.
• Experience embedding with customers and delivering enterprise software on site.
• Ability to own architecture and delivery end-to-end with automated testing and CI/CD.
• Strong communication skills and business context grounding.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Embed with customers on site to learn operations and ship software.
• Design and ship full-stack features across services, data, APIs, and UI.
• Integrate with ERP, IoT, and legacy systems.
• Own delivery end-to-end with testing, CI/CD, cloud, and security.
• Apply AI-assisted development and bring AI capabilities into products.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to feed field learnings into the roadmap.
