Job summary

Lockheed Martin Aerospace is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead AI-driven projects embedded with customers. You will translate requirements into roadmaps, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure AI integration within production environments.

You will mentor interdisciplinary teams, drive measurable efficiency gains, and collaborate across stakeholders while adopting secure, compliant practices and delivering impact for mission-critical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, AI/ML or related field.
• Proficiency in Python and foundational ML concepts.
• Understanding of agile development and Git.
• Experience budgeting $2M+; comfortable using SAP, Oracle, Excel to monitor costs.
• Ability to negotiate scope, timelines, and resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI-driven solutions.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Serve as technical liaison across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Oversee lifecycle from concept to deployment and support.
• Establish data pipelines, analytics, and KPI tracking.
