Job summary

FullStack is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers who embed with enterprise teams to architect and deploy AI-powered solutions. You’ll operate as consultant, operator, and engineer, balancing business case validation with rapid delivery in regulated environments.

You’ll own data, retrieval, and model behavior to ensure trustworthy agents, work with Fortune 500 clients, and guide projects from discovery to production with minimal demos and maximum impact.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years across ML, data, and software engineering.
• Fluent with retrieval and model behavior: embeddings, vector/hybrid search, reranking.
• Experience deploying LLM/agent systems to production.
• Strong communication and ability to present to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Discover. Run workshops with stakeholders and assess data readiness.
• Structure processes and convert to specifications for AI systems.
• Architect & design end-to-end agentic systems with context and retrieval architecture.
• Build working systems: agents, retrieval services, and data flows.
• Engineer the delivery system: CI/CD for AI/ML with prompt/context versioning.
• Operate Day 2: evaluation, observability, cost and latency management.
• Consult: defend decisions with CTOs and VPs, support pre-sales scoping.
