Job summary

Haag Global, Inc. in the Pittsburgh area seeks a Forensic Structural Engineer II to investigate and evaluate structural damage from storms, fires, defects, and accidents. This remote/home-office role offers opportunities to deliver defensible conclusions and collaborate with a national team.

The candidate should have 2+ years of forensic experience, strong writing and communication skills, and PA PE licensure or reciprocity eligibility. Base salary ranges may apply, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of forensic engineering experience preferred.
• Strong writing skills and ability to produce clear reports.
• Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationally.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• PA P.E. license or reciprocity eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to determine the cause, origin, and extent of structural damage.
• Develop clear, well-supported conclusions and high-quality reports.
• Provide timely updates to clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Work independently from a home office while leveraging internal experts.
• Drive issues to resolution ensuring deliverables meet standards.
• Suggest process improvements to strengthen tools and outcomes.
