Job summary

ARCCA, LLC, an ATS Family of Companies, seeks a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer in Forensic Engineering to support complex loss investigations. You will apply advanced engineering judgment to assess structural failures, construction defects, and code compliance, and serve as a trusted expert to clients and insurers.

Requirements: PE license, 10+ years in forensic engineering, Civil/Mechanical degree. This full-time role is remote with Northeast focus; salary $100k–$150k per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in forensic engineering and consulting.
• Strong problem-solving ability and analytical mindset.
• Experience as expert witness and testifying strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of damages from various sources such as water intrusion, wind, vibration, impact, construction standard of care, and building envelope failure.
• Perform site and evidence inspections utilizing the latest 3D scanning technology and software, conduct testing, failure analysis, and collect data.
• Provide post damage assessments outlining scope of repairs along with temporary support systems for repair, analysis, and design of structures and foundations.
• Prepare technical reports of scientific findings and conclusions that can be understood by laypersons and supported by testimony during depositions and trials.
