Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Remote Forensic Coder to deliver expert front and back end coding, drive opportunities for improvement, and educate providers and staff. Candidates should have extensive physician coding experience, CPC/CCS certification, and proficiency with EPIC and coding tools.

The role requires minimum 4 years of coding experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 4 years coding experience; 5 years preferred.
• Certification: CPC or CCS required (AAPC/AHIMA).

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis of identified coding opportunities.
• Lead or support coding improvement projects as assigned.
• Research and provide coding guidance for new client services.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and quality standards.
• Maintain workflow knowledge across coding functions.
• Educate providers and staff; communicate professionally with physicians and managers.
• Assist with training of other coders.
• Participate in coding education activities and meetings.
