Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a seasoned Forensic Coder to analyze coding opportunities and lead improvement projects. You will educate providers, stay current with payer guidelines, and mentor teammates in documentation accuracy.

This remote role may require travel to client sites or corporate offices as needed. You should have 4+ years of physician coding experience, CPC/CCS credentials, and proficiency with Epic and coding software tools, along with strong analytical and organizational

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; professional coding certification preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of physician front-end and back-end coding experience.
• Proficient with Epic and coding software tools; strong analytic skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete root cause analysis of identified coding opportunities.
• Lead or support coding improvement projects and provider education.
• Research and provide coding guidance for new client service lines.
• Maintain knowledge of payer guidelines and coding edits; mentor others.
• Travel for education sessions or CME events as needed.
