Job summary

Aldridge Pite, LLP in New York (Melville area) is seeking an Operations Specialist II for a primarily remote role in the NY Foreclosure Department. The position involves reviewing and managing motions, orders, and filings, and maintaining up-to-date information in the firm’s case management system.

You will correspond with clients, courts, counsel, and vendors, draft court pleadings, provide updates to attorneys, run SCRA/PACER checks, and support special projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and foreclosure experience recommended
• 1–2 years foreclosure experience; 2+ years preferred; NY foreclosure experience preferred
• Microsoft Office knowledge (incl. Excel) preferred; experience with foreclosure processing client systems and law-firm or loan processing preferred
• Typing quickly and accurately; proficiency with technology required

Responsibilities

• Review data/documents for Orders of Reference and related motions
• Draft and file Orders of Reference, Motions for Summary Judgment, and judgments of Foreclosure & Sale
• Follow up with courts on action status to keep matters moving
• Prepare and file required court pleadings (e.g., Military Affidavits, Notice of Entry)
• Provide court updates to appearing attorneys; manage status conferences/motions
• Update case management/client systems; run SCRA/PACER checks as required
• Request fee approvals when applicable
• Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned
