Job summary

Aldridge Pite, LLP is seeking an Operations Specialist II in the NY Foreclosure Department. This primarily remote role handles review and management from Motion preparation to filing, with regular client, court, and vendor communications.

The position requires 1–2 years foreclosure experience (2+ preferred) and strong Microsoft Office skills. Candidates should be tech‑savvy and capable of multi‑tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  • New York Foreclosure experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel; prior foreclosure processing experience preferred.
  • Typing quickly and accurately; high comfort with technology.

Responsibilities

  • Review and compile data for Orders of Reference and related motions.
  • Draft and file Orders of Reference and related motions.
  • Follow up with courts on action status.
  • Prepare and file court pleadings (e.g., affidavits, Notice of Entry).
  • Provide court updates to appearing attorneys.
  • Update case management systems promptly.
  • Run and review SCRA/PACER checks.
  • Request fee approvals when applicable.
  • Assist with other duties and special projects.

Purpose


The Operations Specialist II is a primarily remote position in the NY Foreclosure Department and is responsible for the review and management of all functions from Motion preparation to filing. The Specialist will also correspond with clients, courts, counsel and vendors related to all functions within the team, and maintaining up to date information in the firm’s case management system and client systems.


Essential Duties / Primary Responsibilities



  • Review and compile the data / documents necessary to proceed Orders of Reference, Motions for Summary Judgment, Combined Motions and Judgment of Foreclosure & Sale.

  • Draft and file the Orders of Reference, Motions for Summary Judgment, Combined Motions and Judgment of Foreclosure & Sale.

  • Follow up with court(s) on status of actions pending to ensure matters are moving through the courts

  • Prepare and file all required court pleadings related to the Motion (i.e. Military Affidavits, Notice of Entry), as needed.

  • Provide court updates to appearing attorneys for department; Status conferences/Motion appearances

  • Timely and thoroughly updates case management/client system as files are worked and in regard to status.

  • Run and review SCRA/PACER checks as determined by firm and client requirements

  • Request fee approvals when applicable

  • Assist with other duties and special projects as needed and assigned by management.


Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

  • Minimum 1-2 years of foreclosure experience; 2+ years preferred. Experience with New York Foreclosure preferred

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Excel) preferred, prior experience in foreclosure processing client systems preferred, previous law firm or loan processing experience preferred.

  • Ability to type quickly and accurately, and proficiency with technology is a must.
