Job summary

Relativity is seeking a FOIA Data Migration & Compliance Lead to drive end-to-end migration projects for FOIA customers within RelativityOne. This role blends hands-on migration work with technical leadership, coordinating with engineering and customer teams to define tooling requirements, validation, and cutover strategies.

The ideal candidate will bring government-domain experience, strong SQL and data engineering skills, and a track record as a product owner or technical lead.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information management, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with government agencies or regulated-industry customers in a technical or consulting capacity.
• Experience in data migration, data integration, or data engineering, including designing and executing migrations of structured and/or semi-structured data sets.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data querying/transformation; hands-on experience with data formats, transformation tools, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JSON, XML, CSV).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience as a product owner or technical lead, capturing requirements, documenting specifications, and driving iterative delivery.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust designation as a condition of employment. Candidates with an active federal clearance are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data migration projects for new FOIA customers and government agencies, ensuring accurate, secure migrations.
• Develop and execute migration plans including data mapping, validation, transformation logic, and cutover strategies.
• Serve as primary technical contact for FOIA agency customers across migration lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues in collaboration with engineering.
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specs; test and validate new utility features.
• Document tool capabilities, configurations, and migration best practices.
