Job summary

Relativity is seeking a FOIA Data Migration & Compliance Lead to oversee end-to-end migration of FOIA data into RelativityOne. You will serve as a hands-on practitioner and technical lead, coordinating with engineering to define tooling requirements and engaging FOIA agency customers throughout the migration lifecycle.

The role requires deep knowledge of FOIA regulations, government data handling, and FedRAMP processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with government agencies or regulated-industry customers in a technical or consulting capacity.
• Experience in data migration, data integration, or data engineering, including designing and executing migrations of structured and/or semi-structured data sets.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data querying/transformation; hands-on experience with data formats, transformation tools, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JSON, XML, CSV).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience as a product owner or technical lead, capturing requirements, documenting specifications, and driving iterative delivery.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust designation as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end FOIA data migration projects for new government customers and agencies, ensuring data is migrated securely and efficiently.
• Develop and execute migration plans including mapping, validation, transformation logic, and cutover strategies.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for FOIA agency customers across the migration lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues in collaboration with engineering.
• Act as technical SME and backlog driver for the Data Migration Utility, balancing delivery with scalability.
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specs; test and validate new features.
• Document tool capabilities, configurations, and best practices.
• Apply FOIA regulations and agency data management workflows to migrations.
• Onboard FOIA agency customers with TAM/CS teams and establish repeatable playbooks.
• Represent government data handling requirements and feedback for product improvements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, migration runbooks, and knowledge base content.
