Job summary

Davies North America is seeking a Workers' Compensation Manager to lead the claims team and deliver high-quality results from a remote home-based role in the United States. You will supervise daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive client satisfaction while coordinating with brokers, attorneys, and vendors.

The ideal candidate has 8–12 years of WC claims experience, FL adjuster licensure, and a track record of leadership and process improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Risk Management, or related field.
• 8–12 years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
• Active FL adjuster license.
• Presumption claims experience.
• FL Workers' Compensation claims experience.
• Strong knowledge of jurisdiction statutes, and laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a Florida-focused W/C claims team.
• Oversee complex, high-exposure W/C claims incl. presumption.
• Set strategy, reserving, litigation management, and settlements.
• Collaborate with clients, brokers, attorneys, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with client service agreements and regulations.
• Analyze claims data to identify trends and mitigate risk.
• Participate in audits and continuous improvement.
• Provide coaching to staff and technical guidance.
• Support business development with client reviews/renewals.
• Work cross-functionally with underwriting, actuarial, and operations.
