Davies North America is seeking a Workers' Compensation Excess/SDF Claims Specialist for a remote, permanent full-time position. You will handle excess reporting for workers’ compensation claims and pursue SDF reimbursements, liaising with clients, carriers, and internal teams in Florida-regulated environments.

The role requires 1–2 years of claims handling in Florida WC law, an active FL adjuster license, and solid communication skills. Competitive benefits are included for eligible employees.

Formación

• 1–2 years of claims-handling experience in Florida WC law.
• 1–2 years of office experience.
• Active Adjuster license (FL 5-24 or 5-20/6-20).
• Working knowledge of WC claims handling.
• Familiarity with state WC statutes.
• Proficiency with standard office software.
• Strong written and spoken communication.
• Organized and reliable team player.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate with clients and agents to secure excess policy documents.
• Notify excess carriers of our TPA engagement and reporting procedures.
• Identify retention levels and special reporting requirements.
• Report claims to excess carriers with initial, follow-up, and final reports.
• Maintain documentation and timely state reporting compliance.
• Monitor SDF potential and pursue fund reimbursement per rules.
• Communicate with employers, attorneys, and doctors timely.
• Update SDTF and excess status reports quarterly or per schedule.
• Prepare initial/annual reimbursement requests and filing.
• Assist with SI-19 forms and submissions with FLDFS.
