Job summary

Lydecker LLP in Florida is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2+ years of civil defense litigation experience. The position is remote and will support our Jersey City office; applicant must be admitted to the FL bar and be able to handle a variety of cases in general liability, bodily injury, and professional liability.

Under supervision of a partner, you will draft motions, engage in depositions, attend hearings, and manage discovery while maintaining client communication.

Qualifications

• FL bar license in good standing.
• JD from ABA approved law school.
• Minimum 3 years civil defense litigation experience.
• Experience handling depositions, motions, and discovery.
• Strong client communication and ethical conduct.

Responsibilities

• Bill and respond to petitions, motions, and discovery.
• Attend hearings and client meetings as needed.
• Prepare for and attend depositions.
• Assist with mediations and trials.
