Job summary

Lydecker LLP is seeking a paralegal to support its growing defense litigation practice in Florida. You will handle calendaring, filings, discovery, and client communications, working closely with attorneys and vendors.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in civil defense litigation, strong proofreading and editing skills, and proficiency with MS Office and case management tools. This is an on-site Florida role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years civil defense litigation experience, preferably in general liability.

Responsibilities

• Manage client billing and invoicing
• Draft simple legal documents such as discovery requests, notices, subpoenas
• File pleadings and organize case materials
• Calendar management and court date scheduling
• Serve as contact with vendors and clerk of Court
• Assist with trial preparation and document coordination
• Coordinate with experts and court reporters
• Ensure proper document management and filing practices
