Job summary

BaseLayer Labs, a division of a Chicago-area manufacturing concern, seeks an Account Manager to grow gym tile flooring sales through retail and BTB channels. You will build a strong sales pipeline, manage partners, and drive revenue for a premium flooring product.

The role requires travel to visit customers, develop a CRM, collaborate with marketing for trade shows, and nurture relationships with distributors and retailers. Remote options may apply; based in Waukegan, IL preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the flooring market, gym/athletic flooring preferred.
• Ability to build and nurture strategic partnerships with distributors, retailers, and gym owners.
• Strong skills in creating and delivering compelling sales presentations.
• Proficient in MS Office; capable of developing a CRM-driven sales plan.

Responsibilities

• Grow BaseLayer sales by expanding to retail and B2B customers.
• Establish a CRM to track customers, partners and prospects.
• Create a sales plan and develop a strong pipeline; target and advance prospects.
• Review pipeline monthly and forecast new business.
• Travel to visit customers and seek new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing to plan and execute trade shows.
• Support partnerships with international distributors when applicable.
