Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Fleet/Asset Manager to oversee the acquisition, servicing, utilization, maintenance, and disposal of assets across a defined geography. You will lead cost management, coordinate vendors, and ensure compliant operations for a high-velocity fleet supporting enterprise and government needs.

Responsibilities include budgeting, data analysis, process optimization, and collaboration with multiple teams to meet business objectives while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• College degree or 5 years business experience.
• Three years Fleet Management/Industry Experience supervising a medium size Fleet Organization.
• Experience working with vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple tasks with limited timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage operating expense and capital budgets to achieve cost targets and analyze data for performance issues.
• Partner with departments to align fleet execution with business objectives.
• Collaborate with leadership, operations, vendors and support teams to resolve fleet issues.
• Identify underutilized assets and redeploy or dispose as needed.
• Ensure compliance with DOT/ANSI, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with call centers to review repairs and approve maintenance via supplier networks.
• Monitor asset performance and drive vendor KPIs and continuous improvement.
• Track fleet warranties and recalls to ensure compliance and cost recovery.
