Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to review complex fleet repair work and authorize or guide vendors. The role supports controlling fleet repair costs and optimizing utilization of maintenance vendors and repair services across the network.

The successful candidate will have automotive maintenance experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years background or hands-on maintenance experience in fleet or car repairs.
• Knowledge of repair times, labor rates and parts costs.
• ASE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make certain all Auto Integrate requests in queue are solved as quickly as identified, with 5 minutes during normal business hours per the Company guidelines.
• Ensure all repairs are completed and processed within a timely manner.
• Respond to all incoming inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction through the investigation and resolution of issues or concerns regarding fleet maintenance issues.
• Control repairs of the fleet to ensure guidelines and repairs are cost-effective.
• Works with Maintenance Providers to ensure all national account vendor programs are being utilized.
• Communicate with the Supply Chain Field personnel to validate exceptions to system guidelines, capacity at ABCR locations to return and perform repairs if cost effective to move and do such.
• Assists and supports the Supply Chain Field Management team in building relationships with outside providers.
