Job summary

Mike Albert is seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to ensure timely and cost-effective servicing of corporate fleet vehicles in Cincinnati. You will receive calls from fleet vendors, approve repairs, arrange short-term rentals, and issue repair purchase orders to maintenance providers.

You will also analyze repair costs, negotiate with vendors for best pricing, and coordinate glass replacement and emergency road service while delivering excellent internal and external customer

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in the vehicle repair industry.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• ASE certification required.
• Prefer graduates of a Vehicle Technician program.
• Ability to analyze repair work costs and make decisions.
• Good verbal communication with customers and repair shops.
• Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Receives calls from Fleet Vendors or service facilities to grant authorization to repair fleet vehicles.

• Answer customer phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Issue vehicle repair purchase orders for Fleet Maintenance customers.
• Investigate and negotiate prices on PO requests for parts, labor and rentals.
• Submit repair claims that may be covered by manufacturer warranty.
• Coordinate glass replacement and emergency road service liaison.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and vendors.

Ensure Corporate Fleet Vehicles, driven by our clients, are maintained and repaired timely and in a cost effective manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receives incoming calls from Fleet Vendors or service facilities to grant authorization to repair fleet vehicles
• Approve short term rental of vehicle during the time the company vehicle is in service.
• Answers customer phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Issues vehicle repair purchase orders for Fleet Maintenance customers.
• Investigates and negotiates prices on purchase order requests pertaining to parts, labor, and rental cars etc. for best available pricing.
• Submits any repair claims, which might be covered by manufacturer warranty.
• Coordinate glass replacement
• Emergency road service liaison between customer and vendor
• Provide excellent customer service to customers (internal & external) and vendors.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Three years of experience in vehicle repair industry
• Preference for graduation from Vehicle Technician program
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• ASE certification required
• After training will work a hybrid schedule (two days work from home) and rotating schedule to that includes Saturdays.
• Possess understanding of mechanical repair work costs
• Ability to analyze situation on a case by case basis and make decisions accordingly
• Ability to understand and research materials in electronic repair manuals
• Good verbal communication skills in order to interact with internal and external customers and repair shops.
• Excellent customer service and time management skills.
• Strong Computer skills and working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
