Avis Budget Group is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Specialist to review repairs and approve work in our Maintenance Management System. You will manage work orders, monitor costs, and coordinate with field teams to minimize downtime and maximize fleet utilization.

You will interact with providers and internal staff, ensuring compliance with guidelines while delivering excellent customer service. Ongoing training and a strong benefits package accompany this role.

Qualifications

• 3 years of maintenance experience in fleet/truck repairs.
• Knowledge of repairs times, labor rates and parts costs; tire sales a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and results-driven mindset.
• Good time-management and multitasking in a fast-paced env.
• Ability to resolve conflicts professionally.
• Strong math/analytical and communication skills.
• Professional phone skills and customer service focus.

Responsabilités

• Pre-approve maintenance on inbound calls and ensure timely repairs.
• Enter work orders into the Maintenance Management System and generate reports.
• Respond to fleet maintenance inquiries to resolve issues.
• Expedite vehicle return-to-service using available reports.
• Control repairs and negotiate parts/labor with providers to meet guidelines.
• Support field maintenance with external providers and relationships.
• Coordinate fleet rotation for preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Assist in salvage and disposal processes per company guidelines.
• Perform other duties as required.
