Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Maintenance Authorization Coordinator in Tulsa, OK. You will review all work and exceptions to ensure charges follow system guidelines and approve repairs using the Maintenance Management System for labor and parts standards.

You will approve repairs on trucks and towing equipment, assign unassigned work to providers in the territory, and help resolve fleet maintenance issues to optimize utilization.

Qualifications

• 3 years background or hands-on maintenance experience in fleet or truck repairs.
• Experience with repairs times, labor rates and cost of parts.
• Strong math and analytical skills to analyze maintenance repair data.

Responsibilities

• Make inbound calls for pre-approval of fleet maintenance and respond within guidelines.
• Ensure repairs are completed and processed timely within pre-approval guidelines.
• Enter all work orders into the Maintenance Management System.
• Enter accurate data and retrieve processed information.
• Provide minor reports as required.
• Respond to maintenance issues to satisfy customers.
• Expedite return to service and reduce downtime.
• Negotiate pricing for parts and labor within MMS standards.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Providers and field staff on vendor changes.
