• Experience applying company policies and regulations in practice.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech.
• Strong relationship building across multiple levels.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight timelines.
• Comfort with presenting information and public speaking.
• Adaptability to evolving business conditions and ambiguity.
• College degree or 5 years business experience.
• 3 years fleet management experience supervising a mid-size fleet.
• Experience with vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage operating expense and capital budgets to achieve cost-per-mile targets.
• Partner with vehicle- and equipment-using departments to align fleet needs with objectives.
• Collaborate with leadership, operations, vendors and support teams to resolve fleet issues.
• Identify underutilized fleet assets and redeploy or retire as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies, inspections, safety standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with call-center operations to review repairs through supplier networks.
• Monitor asset performance and drive improvements via KPIs.
• Track warranties and recalls to ensure timely actions and cost recovery.
