Regions Bank is seeking a Systems Administrator to install, configure, and maintain operating system workstations and servers, including web servers, to support business processing requirements.

The role covers software installations, upgrades, performance tuning, license management, data integrity, backups, and compliance with IT policies. It requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong OS knowledge, and scripting ability (PowerShell/Bash).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical training with 4+ years of related IT experience
• Or High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years related experience
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining OS workstations and servers

Responsibilities

• Install and upgrade operating systems and layered software packages
• Schedule installations in line with IT policies
• Monitor and tune systems for performance
• Ensure data integrity and backups
• Manage licensing and maintenance agreements
• Support media management and offsite storage
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures
• Conduct hardware/software audits and ensure policy compliance
• Maintain configuration databases and documentation
• Perform PowerShell and Bash scripting
• Adhere to risk management and change processes
