Job summary

AirGarage is seeking a highly capable Controller to own the accounting function end-to-end, modernize systems, and build a scalable financial foundation for a fast-growing, capital-intensive real-world business. You will lead the in-house accounting team, migrate to a modern ERP, and ensure audit-ready books across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• CPA (or equivalent rigor) with strong GAAP knowledge and practical revenue recognition skills.
• Experience leading multi-location accounting in a fast-growing company.
• Hands-on controller-level leadership with ability to build processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the books end-to-end: close, revenue recognition, reconciliations, AP/AR, payroll coordination.
• Lead migration from QuickBooks to a modern ERP and implement data integrations.
• Rationalize chart of accounts for consistent reporting across locations.
• Ensure tax compliance across jurisdictions and prepare for audits.
• Build and mentor a small in-house accounting team and establish controls.
