Job summary

Pac Air, based in Chatsworth, CA, is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting, month-end close, and GAAP-compliant reporting as the company scales its aerospace aftermarket platform.

The ideal candidate will own AP/AR, manage an outsourced data-entry team and a small internal staff, drive improvements, and partner with the Director of Finance & Administration and CEO on strategic financial initiatives for lenders and auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• CPA or CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and control the company's accounting and month-end close activities, ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Close the books monthly with journal entries, accruals, inventory costing, and GRNI reconciliation.
• Prepare timely reporting and analysis of historical and forecasted financial data.
