Workato, Inc. is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and implement distributed backend systems in Go, focusing on performance, memory behavior, and high concurrency. You will work on runtime components, optimize execution, and enhance observability within a rapidly evolving platform.

You will collaborate with distributed teams worldwide, modernize runtime modules, and optimize data storage integrations (Postgres, S3, DynamoDB, Kafka, ClickHouse).

Competenze

• 7+ years building scalable distributed backend applications.
• Web app building blocks: databases, load balancers, app servers, messaging, caching, monitoring.
• Networking protocols and stacks fundamentals.
• SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Fundamental data structures and algorithms knowledge.
• Multi-language background: Ruby with Go and Rust migration.
• Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• BS/MS in CS/Engineering with 7+ years of experience.
• Willingness to work remotely with globally distributed teams.
