Job summary

The Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates, PC is seeking an empathetic, detail-oriented Pre-litigation Assistant for our Personal Injury team. The perfect candidate has a service mindset and meticulous approach to case management.

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, and will start off as remote and move into our Stockton, CA office in the future. Experience in legal case management is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in criminal justice, sociology, or related studies.
• Experience in legal case management required.
• Bilingual Spanish required.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Create relationships with clients and guide them through the case process from intake to settlement.
• Monitor cases by verifying client attendance and evaluating treatments.
• Maintain client records by reviewing case notes and progress.
• Communicate client progress in weekly meetings and evaluations.
• Draft legal documents such as letters of representation and preservation of evidence.
• Ensure client file is complete for demand and potential litigation.
