Job summary

Oxide is seeking a software engineer to design data models and expand internal systems that empower our teams. You will build new tools for GTM and support, and extend backend services across the product lifecycle—from design to fulfillment and warranty.

You will work with contract manufacturers on data pipelines to provide a unified view of manufacturing programs and automate tasks that are manual today. Proficiency in Rust and TypeScript is required, with experience in Salesforce, Zendesk, and

Qualifications

• Experience writing backend and frontend systems in Rust and TypeScript.
• Comfortable working with Unix terminal and scripting.
• Experience building data pipelines and internal tools.
• Experience integrating with external SaaS APIs (Salesforce, Zendesk, NetSuite).
• Ability to automate repetitive tasks and improve ops resilience.

Responsibilities

• Design data models for internal systems at Oxide.
• Expand Oxide Backend Services across product lifecycles.
• Build tools for GTM and support teams to serve customers.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers on data pipelines.
• Develop automated systems to reduce manual tasks.
• Write backend and frontend code in Rust and TypeScript.
• Provide world-class internal support for services and SaaS solutions.
• Manage access control and on-call availability for critical services.
• Roll out internal and SaaS solutions across teams.
